In 2021, due to the ongoing nature of the worldwide pandemic, the Festival’s focus was more introspective. Musicians in residence took advantage of Mas Vilalte’s peace and isolation to concentrate on group rehearsal – something that had been difficult to organise over the previous year – and on recording.

We nevertheless presented two public concerts, one in Corsavy and one in Arles-sur-Tech. Both concerts were free to attend and took place outdoors.
